Requirements:
Three passes at the G.C.E. A/L Examination (Sri Lanka) in any subject stream or an equivalent qualification obtained from a recognized institution approved by the UGC
At least a Credit Pass for English at G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) or an equivalent qualification

Structure and the duration of the degree
The curriculum of the Bachelor of Education Honors in Primary Education Degree meets the requirement of SLQF Level 6.
The four-year study program consists of 122 credits including,
Professional and academic studies
Internal teaching practice program
One-year internship program
Research project.
An academic year consists of two semesters. There are three parallel exits.

2nd Year: Higher Diploma in Primary Education
4th Year: Bachelor of Education Honors in Primary Education
